Account deletion

Leaving should not require a ticket and a week of pleading. Open Account. Type DELETE. It is yours to end.

Self-serve, on purpose

Open Account in the iPhone app and choose delete. You confirm by typing DELETE. That is the product path. We do not hide it behind a form on this website, and we do not require you to explain yourself to keep the door open.

Why an account exists at all

Requests, private chat, reports, saved events, and deletion all belong to a person. You can create an account with email or Sign in with Apple. An account is the opposite of an anonymous wall; deletion is the opposite of a trap.

If you are stuck

If the app will not complete deletion, email support@helpme.fyi. A person answers. Privacy questions belong there too. A fuller policy will replace the current TestFlight summary before a public App Store release.

Can I delete from this website?

Delete from Account in the iPhone app by typing DELETE. If something blocks that path, email support@helpme.fyi.

Does deletion require a reason?

No. It is your account. Type DELETE to confirm.

What about helper approval if I return?

Approval has to be current. Do not assume an old decision comes back with you. Apply again if you rejoin and want to help.
