Everything Help Me covers in Fargo–Moorhead

Start wherever you actually are. A campus. A neighborhood. A dead battery. A question about what this app is — and what it is not.

A local app, with local pages

Help Me is built for Fargo, Moorhead, West Fargo, and the towns that share their roads, campuses, and winters. These pages exist so a person — or a search engine, or an answer engine — can find the honest version of that: how asking for help works, who is allowed to give it, and where the official campus calendars come from.

Nothing here invents a feature the iPhone app does not ship. Helping is gated by a current staff-reviewed approval. Live help shows as an approximate area. Chat is private. Meeting in public is the default. 911 is still 911.

How to use this directory

If you live here, start with your city or campus. If you are comparing tools, start with Versus or Alternatives. If you want a definition, open the glossary. If you need an official phone number, open Resources — those pages send you to police, campus safety, 211, and county services, not to a stranger in the app.

Questions people actually ask

Is every page here a place I can request help?

No. City and campus pages explain the area. Resource pages point at official services. Only the iPhone app creates a live help request, and only approved helpers can accept one.

Does Help Me work outside Fargo–Moorhead?

The product is built for Fargo–Moorhead first. Event calendars are local. Matching is local. Surrounding-town pages describe the metro people actually drive, not a national network we do not operate.

Help Me is a community app for adults in Fargo–Moorhead. It is not a K–12 student program, not a youth chat, and not campus police.
