Exact location is off until you say yes after accept. You can meet at the building entrance instead of posting a unit number on the open map. Chat is private. Report and block. If you are a student in a hall, follow the campus move-in rules — this app does not override them.
Questions people actually ask
Will a helper bring a truck?
Only if they offer. Do not assume a vehicle. Help Me is not U-Haul and not a paid moving crew.
Can they come inside?
That is your call after you have a private chat and a public-first meeting if you need one. You can stop sharing location. You can leave.
What if someone gets hurt lifting?
This is not insured labor. If it looks like a job for movers, call movers. If it is an emergency, call 911.
