Help MeHelp Me

Fargo

Late night in Fargo, with the last bus in mind

The lights on Broadway are not a 24-hour city. Plan the last mile before the last song.

1. Broadway is the strip

Named, walkable, public. Meet at a doorway. Fargo Police if a fight starts. 911 if someone is hurt.

2. Downtown ramps

A fair walk-to-the-car ask. Lobby first, upper deck second. Helper is not a valet.

3. Campus libraries until they close

NDSU, MSUM, Concordia. Then they close. Do not wait in a locked vestibule hoping a stranger is still online.

4. West Acres is not midnight forever

Mall hours are mall hours. A dark far lot after close is a worse meet than a still-open grocery vestibule.

5. MATBUS is not a night owl by default

Fixed routes Monday–Saturday as published. Check matbus.com. Do not request a driver in the app.

6. Official escorts on campus

NDSU, MSUM, Concordia numbers on the safety pages. Use them.

7. Shows and Ticketmaster Fargo

FARGODOME, Scheels Arena, downtown rooms. Listings in the app link out. A ticket is not a ride home.

8. The hour it stops being a night out

Threatened, injured, too drunk to be safe: 911. A helper chat is too slow and the wrong people.

Questions people actually ask

Can I ask someone to walk me from a bar?

Yes as a public, non-emergency ask. Lit doorway. Official police if you are in danger.

Does Help Me run late-night shifts?

No. Helpers go online when they can. There is no guaranteed 2 a.m. coverage.

Help Me is a community app for adults in Fargo–Moorhead. It is not a K–12 student program, not a youth chat, and not campus police.
