Help MeHelp Me

answer

Where do the events come from?

From official calendars, attributed every time. Nothing is invented.

Short answer

Event listings come from a fixed set of official sources: NDSU, MSUM, Concordia College, M State, the City of West Fargo, and Ticketmaster Fargo. Every listing links back to the source that published it. Help Me does not create events, does not host them, and is not affiliated with or endorsed by those organizations.

The facts, in one place

  • Six sources, always attributed with a link.
  • No invented, scraped-and-rewritten, or user-submitted events.
  • Attribution is not affiliation or sponsorship.
  • The source calendar is always the authority on details.

Why a fixed source list

Community calendars rot. An event page that cannot say where a listing came from is a rumor with a date on it. Locking the sources means every listing has an owner you can check, and a wrong time is fixable at the source instead of copied forever.

  • NDSU
  • MSUM
  • Concordia College
  • M State
  • City of West Fargo
  • Ticketmaster Fargo

Check the source before you drive

Times move, rooms change, and weather cancels things in a metro that measures winter in feet. The link on a listing is not decoration — it is the thing you should open before you put on boots.

Questions people actually ask

Can I submit an event?

No. Listings come from the fixed source list, which is what keeps them trustworthy.

Is Help Me affiliated with NDSU or MSUM?

No. Linking a public calendar and being endorsed by an institution are different things.

Help Me is a community app for adults in Fargo–Moorhead. It is not a K–12 student program, not a youth chat, and not campus police.
