Do not request a helper to “get me out of the house.” Do not share a live location with a matched stranger while you are fleeing. Advocates, police, and shelters know how to do this. We do not pretend to.

Can a helper walk me out of an unsafe home?
No. Call 911 or a 24/7 advocate line. A matched stranger is not an extraction team.
What if calling is unsafe?
